Dear Michael, You were nominated for Long Island Business News’ Fifty Around 50 Award. The judging committee has met and made their decisions. We’ve learned so much about the companies, organizations and our fellow Long Islanders who celebrate a nearly 50 year existence, and we all enjoyed reading the testimonial letters sent on your behalf. Without a doubt, those letters revealed a deep respect and admiration for you all. Based on nominations submitted stating your leadership in business, your mentoring and support for the Island’s not-for-profit organizations and your commitment to the communities that ultimately support you and your businesses, you have been selected as a member of the inaugural Class of 2009. It is my great pleasure to be the first to congratulate you, one of the intelligent, hard-working and dynamic men and women dedicated to Long Island’s strong, successful companies and organizations. We have a celebration scheduled to join Long Island Business News as we celebrate the companies and business leaders who are over 40 and proud of it. We’ll gather for cocktails and wonderful food, dance, network, catch up on what’s been going on in business and our lives since we last spoke and get to meet folks that are new to us. |
